Great initial nose with strong vanilla and honey. On the palette, you can taste the oak with the honey lingering. Finished spicy - not sure what … maybe cinnamon?

For 97 proof, was surprised at the lack of burn. Strong notes of vanilla. Smooth and balanced, but could have used more depth in the flavor profile.

Heavier aftertaste than expected with a wheated. Notes of caramel and oak. To be honest, it’s quite a distance from Pappy and would choose a Weller Antique over this. Lives more on its name than its merits.
