On the same level as Lagavulin. However it diverges slightly from the woodland-peaty path and heads toward the ocean. Slight notes of ocean spray can be found among the subtle fruit tones, coming off more sweet than fruit. Amazing contrasts between the combination of different flavors for a 10 year Scotch.

Tastes of the woods, and campfire with both thick and light levels of smoke. Beef jerky, with the sensation of having hiked 5 mountains and canoed 3 rivers without the actual effort of doing so. There is that tobacco aura to the after bite, although it is a blend between a mild cigar and lucky strike.
