It doesn't come across harsh at all on the nose and im able to pick up the notes of sweet oak. It doesn't smell overly complex. I do sense some floral notes however. On the palate its not heavy at all. Notes of sweet oak and earth. Not an overly complex bourbon at all. On the finish the notes oak and earth go quickly into memory.

After resting in a glen for a few minutes, the bose comes off hot. But i do sense sweet oak, and tobacco playing peekaboo amidst the intensity. Its tannic and a little astringent on the palate, but notes of oak and vanilla do shine through. The finish is the best part. The harshness is gone and all that remains is the best part of this which are notes of oak and sweet vanilla.
