Tasting Notes
"Some inexpensive bourbons can be punchy, perhaps even bombastic, but this one shows a lot of care and polish. The nose is sweet and simple, candied fruit, some soft corn, and caramelized sugars. The palate starts with sweet caramel but turns to wood and kitchen spices at the mid-palate, with a long lived dry finish. Although the soft oily texture is what leaves the best impression, it is reminiscent of elegant corn whiskies from Japan."
