Nose: vanilla and Carmel red apples not as much oak as normal bourbons Taste: Carmel and spice dominate. Some slight maple and honey. Some more wood than the nose with vanilla. Easy round finish. Excellent beginner bourbon or whiskey in general

Tons on wood on the nose vanilla is also present The taste has strong vanilla but the new charred oak barrel makes its presence known! Carmel also I’m in their as well but the finish is all new charred barrel rather than an alcohol burn.

A lot of citrus on the nose and some wood notes Very citrusy up front and through till the finish. Not as sweet as some make it out to be but definitely an orange zest to it. Wood flavors are there but are not overpowering with a spicy slightly smoky finish.

So I had this pretty high because this is my ideal flavor. I get a red apple/cherry on the tip to traditional vanilla mid way and the finish is Smokey but it’s almost a perfect amount!

It’s very sweet up front. It somewhat reminds me of a sweet oatmeal raisin cookie with a Smokey finish. If you like a sweet bourbon this is a good get.
