Bombay Sapphire Laverstoke Mill
Distiller Score 93
This bottling is the same recipe as their standard Bombay Sapphire, but it is sold at a higher proof of 49% ABV. This makes a slight difference on the taste. The brighter notes sing higher here with the citrus and coriander along with the floral notes showing brighter as well. The juniper is present and accounted for and the finish is dry and crisp. At this proof, we'd order a Martini up with a twist.

Monkey 47 Distiller's Cut 2020
Distiller Score 97
There's a light golden color to the gin due to the Mizunara oak aging. This gives the gin an overall gentle woodsy aroma. But this is still a gin, and a very aromatic gin at that. Fans of the standard Monkey 47 will still find the mix of fruity (especially citrus) and floral aspects as well sweet spices such as coriander. What's unique about what Monkey 47 is they get the balance right. Despite the number of botanicals, and now the wood aging, the gin is in harmonious balance and not a muddied mess. Also, the juniper is very much present which makes all the other botanicals able to have their moment to shine. Every sip reveals a new botanical flavor. You could easily sip this as you would a whiskey, particularly on cold evenings.

Procera Green Dot Gin
Distiller Score 92
This is a mellow sipping gin, and if you closed your eyes as you sipped and imagined a color, a soft green would be emanating from the bottle. As a single botanical gin, juniper takes many forms, from mint and tree sap to dried berries and its herbaceous qualities. The palate is viscous and dry, and the finish is extended with notes of lemon and a bitter tinge.
