Procera Green Dot Gin
Modern Gin
Procera // Kenya
Procera Gin is based in Nairobi, Kenya, and aims to showcase African ingredients and botanicals. This includes its namesake Juniperus Procera, which the distillery says it is the first to use in the world.
Procera Green Dot showcases a novel approach by harvesting the juniper from a single tree for a single batch of distillate, showcasing the micro-terroir potential of botanicals. It is also the only botanical used in the spirit.

Tasting Notes
"This is a mellow sipping gin, and if you closed your eyes as you sipped and imagined a color, a soft green would be emanating from the bottle. As a single botanical gin, juniper takes many forms, from mint and tree sap to dried berries and its herbaceous qualities. The palate is viscous and dry, and the finish is extended with notes of lemon and a bitter tinge. "
