1792 Full Proof Total Wine Pick

Normal 1792 fp vs 1792 fp 2023 total wine pick. -Very similar noses rich carmel apple w spice Taste- 1792 fp- mixture of fruits like a rich quality fruit cup. Nice spice, rye sweet. Medium spicy sweet finish. 1792 fp tw- Similar fruit but but twice as much rye. Not as sweet or rich as the 1792 fp but more of a focused profile. If you would have told me this one was a rye, I would have believed you. I didn't think that there was as much variation with 1792 but this is definitely different. They both are pretty close score wise but tonight the normal wins. It just has what I want when I feel like a 1792 - 8.4/10. (8.3/10 tw)

Light and smooth. Not super sweet or deep. Good one to sip for a while and before bed. Will enjoy this one. RIP Daisy.

Nose - big caramel and cinnamon, sweet vanilla, some dried fruit, a touch of ripe banana Palette - oily, some caramel and a lot of oak spice and tannins Finish - hot and lingering, some dryness at the back of your tongue

So strong. Took me an hour to drink a neat pour.
