1792 Single Barrel Bourbon

Great pick from a store I’m not familiar with. Creamy and tasty much like I remember my first experience of 1792 Ridgemont Reserve. Thanks Jon!

A bit too much citrus at the beginning for me. Finishes nicely with a vanilla, date, pepper ending

Fruits and vanilla. Still like the full proof better I believe.

Smell Caramel, smell floral, taste a bit spicy and sweet. Expecting it to be darker light finish with alcohol flavor

Smooth with a long finish and nice warmth.

Drank this tonight with two other single barrels, Kentucky Spirit and Four Roses single barrel 100 proof. The store pick 1792 sib just couldn't hold its own against it's competition this evening. It's a nice sippable bourbon, but it lacks the richness of the other two, despite being within a couple of proof points. I'm not giving up on this bottle, but so far it's just not hitting the marks I was hoping for. At this point, I have to say I prefer 1792 small batch.
