A. H. Hirsch 1974 16 Year Reserve Straight Bourbon

Don’t remember much but do remember that I really enjoyed the oaky funk coming from this. Not sure if it’s worth the hype but it’s damn delicious

Nose: Caramel, Luxardo Cherries, Cinnamon, Blood Oranges, Honey, Vanilla, Maple Syrup, Cherry Cola, Root Beer, Nutmeg Palate: Cloves, Vanilla, Creme Brûlée, Lavender, Demarara Sugar, Peach Flambee, Caramel, Almonds, Hazlenuts, Tobacco, Leather, Root Beer Finish: Vanilla, Marshmallows, Almond Joy Bars, Mound Bars, Cashews, Brown Sugar, Cloves, Root Beer Float, Cola

Menthol cigarette, buttercream, vanilla extract. Woodsy floor, old fashioned orange, low proof. Cedar, rye
