Reviewed November 16, 2021Distilled in my local area, so let’s give it a go: Nose: baking spices, wood, fruit hard candies Palate: fresh raspberries, cinnamon, some brown sugar, wood Finish: mild pepper, citrus rind, faint dark sweets (caramel?), woody astringency Good, but not really good or great. Not sure worth the price. Better at 45-50 a bottle than the 75-100 you see. I will say this, it is ASTONISHINGLY smooth for its 126 proof. -

Reviewed October 15, 2021This is my favorite bourbon so far in life. It has a great flavor and with its barrel proof strength a quality burn to let you know its there.120.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed June 7, 2021 (edited June 11, 2021)Sorry but aspen is not a wood to age whiskey with. Unless it’s an emergency I guess. You can put all kind of gold medal stickers on it… and I fell for it. But. Aspen is an astringent tannic soft wood and doesn’t add to the flavor, it detracts. The base whiskey is delicious. -

Reviewed April 14, 2021 (edited August 13, 2022)This one is definitely a fighter. It’s aroma is a lot of maple syrup, French toast, almost light cinnamon luring you in to a very sexy smell... then it goes down. Mahogany, cedar, and sweet wood and grain notes... that slowly and seductively turns into.... HEAT. Very hot on the finish and aftertaste, and it lingers. The aroma, taste, mouthfeel, and finish are all superb in my opinion, it just puts a branding iron on your tongue while it’s kissing and loving you.118.0 USD per BottleStir-Ups Liquors -
