2XO is a new whiskey brand from American whiskey blender Dixon Dedman, known for his high proof bourbon and rye blends. The brand will feature small batch and single barrel releases of whiskeys which are re-barreled into new charred oak barrels.
Each small batch will bear a different name and symbol on the label. This inaugural release is dubbed The Phoenix Blend and will be available as of November 2022 in select markets in limited quantities.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma leans sweet and spicy with more wintery spices come into play. Maple and apple also make an appearance. Char smoke is present as well. As you move on to the taste, the spices on the whiskey intensify as the whiskey leans dry and tannic. There's a little sweetness in the middle, but the barrel has taken over here. Adding a bit of water helps bridge the flavors together. Would be a good whiskey for those that like spice and fruit, but not necessarily sweet bourbons. Finish ends with the char barrel notes. "
