4 Copas Tequila Reposado
4 Copas // Jalisco, Mexico
4 Copas is named after a famous Spanish love song, “Cuatro Copas," about a couple who fall in love after sharing four drinks at a bar. It captures a sense of innocence and purity, from the organically harvested blue weber agave plants the brand's tequilas are made from, to the organic wild yeast they use, and their traditional methods of cooking and distillation. Produced at Tequila Las Americas, S.A. De C.V., in Jalisco, 4 Copas Reposado is rested for 9 months in barrels of American oak before being bottled at 40% ABV.
Tequila ReposadoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged from 2 months up to a year in barrels no larger than 20,000 L. Any type of wood is acceptable, although ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Reposado translates to "rested".
