Pretty average sherried scotch, would be great for a new drinker. Smooth and easy sip with nice fruit flavors and a little tobacco, leather on the back end. Not much of a finish, almost “too smooth”. I found it to be not highly intriguing, but its a bottle essy to share with non-scotch drinkers, since it’s not overwhelming. In the same range I’d rather drink a Balvenie 12 or Oban 14, or a Glenmorangie 12. Good, but nothing outstanding.
