This limited edition A. Smith Bowman release was made from 7 to 8 year old bourbon which underwent a unique finishing process. The bourbon was finished for six months inside of barrels which housed coffee beans for between two and five weeks. It's uncut and unfiltered, and bottled at cask strength, 67.
3% ABV (134.6 proof). Only one barrel was produced. Limited release.

Tasting Notes
"Hints of coffee and chocolate on the nose, with lots of dark and robust sweetness, a touch of spice. On the palate, coffee meanders at first, overshadowed by caramel, vanilla and peppery spice. Finish is hot and intense, thanks to that 134.6 proofing, with the coffee exploding to the forefront and lingering. Add a drop of water to bring out more spice on the nose, and more coffee on the palate. A wonderful and unique experiment. "
