Absente Absinthe is distilled in Provence, France. The brand claims to be the first legal Absinthe distributed in the United States since 1912. However, unlike traditional (read: TRUE) absinthe, Absente Absinthe is made using Artemisia Abrotanum (Southernwood) rather than Artemisia Absinthium (Common wormwood). The box features a triple-faced Vincent van Gogh.
