Absente Absinthe Refined

A modern Absinthe from France that has a botanical birth; while a balanced life led to a light anise death. March 2017

Sweet smooth taste with a nice louche. The barkeepers needed to fetch it off a high shelf. I guess not a lot of parisians order this in Paris.

Flavor seems ok. This is only the 2nd absinthe I've had, but it's not bad @ 1:5 ratio that i saw recommended on Reddit. I've been doing 1:4 ratio, and it tastes pretty good. Gonna raise from 3.5 to 4 stars
