Absente Absinthe Refined

Enjoyable

The simplest way to sum up this flavor is “liquid black jellybean.” The flavor is subtly different than that of black licorice, but close. I personally love this flavor and will be buying more if this. It does leave an intense tingle on the tongue that borders on burn.

Not technically an absinthe, as it doesn't make me hallucinate. Or maybe it's the large amount of artificial colors and sugar added to the drink. Proper absinthe should be a macerated spirit, akin to a gin, this is just fake absinthe that was produced when the ban was still in effect. There are plenty of fantastic true absinthes available in this price range.
