The Bengal Tiger is India’s national animal and, unfortunately, also an endangered species. Amrut Bengal Tiger Single Cask whisky is just as scarce with 540 bottles chosen exclusively for the Canadian market. The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.

Tasting Notes

"The nose pounces from agave and spice to raisins, candy floss, and other dried fruits. This is a rich and peppery whisky with nice interplay between the vanilla-oak sweetness, cocoa, and the fruit-peel bitter zest. Toasty wood smoke layers in an intricate touch with just a pinch of salt that seasons the whisky like a skilled chef. The finish’s high-proof spice tickles the top of the mouth until this spice combusts and the zesty fruit flavors fade. "
