Oaky and dry. Not overpowering

A lot of heat, subtle smoke, and a nice semi sweet chocfinisholatey .

Nose of bitter chocolate, cinnamon, and light peat smoke gives way to pears and oaky spice. Fades to smoke and vanilla. A little spicy at 50%, but a lovely dram.

First sniff has hints of smokiness with a ripe fruity finish. First taste start spicy with light vanilla and dark chocolate notes with a spicy yet cinnamon finish

Advent d18: aroma: leather, fudgy toffee. Taste : overly charred marshmallow with oak and toffee, chocolate. Finish is smooth... Considering the proof. We both liked this.

Flaviar Advent Calendar: Nose: smoke, cinnamon, dark fruits. Palate: moderately sweet, vanilla, pear. I really like this.

Flaviar Advent Calendar Day 18: not sure how this was so highly rated. Lots of spice nothing else, tastes like a bad scotch

Nose: Banana, light smoke, lightly floral, touch of sweet grass Taste: honey and peated smoke. Cereal/grains with touches of bitter chocolate Finish: Bottled at 100 proof so there's some bite, light peat taste, a bit tartness. Overall, really interesting. There's a lot going on and the flavors change if you give it just a little time. If this is an indication, Indian whiskies are worth keeping an eye on.
