Amrut Single Malt

On the nose: malt, melted butter, green apple, funk, but no smoke. Perhaps a bit of salty rocks and wet moss. But it's the sweet baked apple that wins. The taste is SUPER silky. Butter, werthers candy, and savory black pepper. Very little finish. Interesting but definitely front loaded.

A very nice dram. On the nose, mostly honey and a little spice. On the tongue, some mild inital smokiness (though not peated) that opens up to spicy, fruity rich flavour

Been 10 years since i tried this last. My palate has evolved since. Honey, caramel, some floral and spice notes, cinnamon. Has a faily strong bitterness that makes it unbalanced, but still enjoyable!

Not my favorite… far from there.
