Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Madeira Casks (2021 Cellar Collection)

It runs a little hot for 100 Proof, so prepare accordingly to taste it. The oak is the first thing that hits. Shows signs of maturity up front. As the heat dissipates there is a grape note and some more obvious signs of the barrel finishing. It has a nice depth, but loses some points for being a bit harsh at this price point. 5x the price of a standard Angels Envy at 1.5x the quality.

Little underwhelming, nose is was kind of weak, palate was decent, smooth with hints of the finish
