Tasting Notes
"At almost 120 proof, the nose is a bit closed off at first pour so allow it to breathe just a bit. There's a pleasant mix of dark berry fruit, vanilla and toasted oak there. Drinking at this proof is okay too, but it's just a little dry. Adding some water helps to ease all those flavors, just a splash is fine. As you do you'll find a long tasting experience showing the marriage of the charred oak, dark berry fruit, and the caramel and vanilla coming together. A great after-dinner dram and one to break out for those chilly nights."
