Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Tawny Port Wine Barrels (2020 Cellar Collection)

Simply outstanding. Incredibly smooth, simultaneously fruity, oaky, and rich. Opened bottle to celebrate my daughter's wedding.

Oak, but sweetness and cherry.

This review is based on the drink being neat. The nose is a very mild with buttery bread, cinnamon, and apple. Even burying your nose in the glass isn't going to bring out the alcohol burn to the senses. The pallet is a mild corn and vanilla. The port sweetness comes through in the end and sits on the tongue like a whisper. It has the initial burn to the tongue, but turns smooth as it makes it's way down the rabbit hole... This is a very mild drink. Be great on a hot summer night outside taking in nature and listening to the sounds that are around you.
