Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels

Nose: vanilla, raisins and maple syrup Taste: cinnamon and a hint of strawberries Finish: medium For years I have wanted to like this more than I do but it’s a $40 bourbon that gets lost against the Woodfords or Four Roses or Elijah Craigs. It’s good but I just don’t think about it enough to buy a bottle over the others for home very often.

A distributor rep was doing a quick check of the store while i was browsing and highly recommended this one. I’m not at all disappointed. Very approachable, sweet, and smooth.

Un bourbon dessert et gourmand. Cest plein de vanille, caramel et gateau des anges. L'affinage en fut de porto caractérise certainement cette rondeur. J'aurais probablement pas osé a plein prix, mais loffre de la SAQ a catalysé l'achat et je regrette pas!
