Excellent nose. Brown sugar, molasses, cinnamon, clove, black licorice.
Palate: more cinnamon spice and sweet notes gives way to a great medium finish. Little to no burn.
I love this rye but it’s certainly not a traditional rye. If you love and appreciate finished whiskeys, you’ll love this. A bit expansive for what it is, but it’s still quite enjoyable. Not many other whiskeys like it

Rye on the nose. Strong taste of burnt sugar. Very sweet, but sort of uniquely so. Good on its own, makes for a very (too?) sweet old fashioned with standard recipe. The dessert wine of whiskeys?
Nose: Maple Syrup, Caramel, Brown Sugar, Cotton Candy, Banana, Clove,
Palate: Maple Candy, Oak, Molasses, Cinnamon, Clove
Finish: Spicy, Sweet, Pipe Tobacco
Character: SWEET, Light, Thin
Notes: Neck Pour on the heels of Aberlour A'bunadh, so likely less thin after time to open up and not after a cask strength sherry bomb. Sweetest Whisky I've ever had
Like someone put cotton candy in Bananas foster
