Tasting Notes
"The nose is rich and expressive with red fruits, custard cream biscuits, toasted oak, dried fruits, leather and touches of beewax. On the palate, it becomes even more complex and powerful, delivering notes of coffee, nuts, sweet and hot spices, burnt caramel, and something of an old furniture store atmosphere. The aftermath is deliciously long-lasting with drier notes. Overall, the influence of the fortified wine is very clear but still well balanced. "
