Reviewed January 17, 2026 (edited February 7, 2026)Nose: Pretty solid nose. I get some maple, pecan syrup, stone fruit, little orange vanilla and some heat. Palate: Little dark druit, chocolate, mid palate i get this scotch smoke for one second that throws me off. Wonder if theres some Dickel in here. Finish is nice, desserty and sweet with some oak Theres just no way i can justify the price of these two 200ml bottles. Would never pay that even after drinking and enjoying it. Came from seelbachs subscription109.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed January 2, 2026 (edited January 17, 2026)Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Sweet with lots of dark fruit. Palate: Clove, baking spice, some oak tannins. Finish: Long length with medium heat. Splash: A musty note appears. Overall: 8/10 - This is hard to rate with the information at hand. It’s 10 year Kentucky distillate from an undisclosed distillery, bottled at 107 proof. It’s in 200 ml bottles for some reason, and it’s pretty expensive per ounce. I wouldn’t have taken a chance on this at full retail, but Seelbach’s monthly whiskey club saved me a good chunk of the cost. Even at ~$65 for 400 ml, it’s still difficult to rate, so it’s rated without the cost factor in mind. If someone put this in my hand with completely no information, how would I rate it? A solid 8/10. I have a feeling it will open up over time and could go even higher. A few drops of water coaxes out a flavor that I can only describe as funky or musty. What is this mysterious 10 year Kentucky juice? I’m sure we will eventually find out.
