Ardbeg 10 Year

Less balanced than I'd hoped for. Tons of peat, leather, and ocean, but all a bit much.

I’m a bourbon drinker, so this was a little intimidating, especially on the nose. But I was surprised by the depth. I don’t know how often I’d have one, but it’s a pleasant experience.

Peaty! It calms down once the bottle has had a chance to breathe. Once that happens, there are so many other flavors and it really is a smooth well balanced whisky.
