Tastes

I think for the price, it could be a little bit smoother and more complex. I don't mean Tres Amigos, tastes-like-rum anejo, but it should make you work to find all the flavors, but the reward should be there for those willing to search. Technically, I would say the aroma is light and flavor, too much alcohol and vegetal.

Smooth, butterscotch, fantastic, but I would be hard pressed to say this isn't a very nice rum. That's not a dig. I love me a very fine rum. This will become a permanent addition to my Top Shelf.

Straight, the smell is un interesting and the taste is an Ardbeg 10 tequila. Campfire smoky. This mezcal really shines as a substitute for tequila in mixed drinks.
