Prior to this, from peated whiskey I tasted Laphroaig Select, which is considered the entry level to this type of whiskey. From Ardbeg 10 I expected something powerfully peaty, but unexpectedly it turned out to be just as pleasant as the Laphroaig Select. Peat is revealed only in the aftertaste, and oaky fruity notes are the first to reveal, already turning into moderate peat towards the finish. The result is a very pleasant whiskey, I will take more.
