Flagship smoky islay. Good and easy sipping with a ton of campfire smoke

Quintissential Ardbeg: smoke, sweet & savory. Raw & bold without tasting "young." A touch of band-aid on the nose, plus black pepper, apple, pear. Smoke, orange peel, tamarind & caramel on the palate. Lingering white pepper & citrus peel on the finish.

My ideal Scotch. Smoky, peaty, oily

Påtagligt rökig, integrerad och söt. Blommig lukt, matta av ekfat. Mogen rökighet med påtaglig beska från fat, balanserad och söt eftersmak. Lägereld, gräs, skog.

Lovely sweet smoke! Very well balanced peat, fruit, wood and brine. At 46%, it’s rich and smooth, missing just a little body and depth for me.
