Ardbeg 10 Year

I really enjoy this stuff. I have a buddy who has been sharing his with me whenever we hang out and I’m about ready to purchase a bottle for myself. The aroma is peaty, smoky, a little briny, same with the first couple sips. After that it really starts to open up as you move through the initial bold flavors it starts to become very complex with a little sweetness, black licorice and fruit.

Nose & Taste of campfire & peat. This is my 1st tasting of Ardbeg and I was concerned that I would not like it due to the peat level. Of 50-55ppm. The smoke & peat levels are not over powering at all. This is a fantastic scotch which I rate as a 4.0 and will definitely buy Again!!!

Sweet with a health peat. Nutty and bright. Has a fruit and floral aftertaste.
