Tasting Notes
"As is de rigueur for any Ardbeg release, the peaty, meaty aroma can be detected from afar. This time, though, the medicinal aspect takes a backseat and fresh fruity notes are allowed to ride shotgun with the peat reek. The whisky has a soft, slightly slick body and feels weighty on your palate. It is smoky throughout and has just a little bite on the finish. Overall, this drinks like a young whisky, but it's an enjoyable one at that. Don't over-think this one. "
