This limited edition expression is a collaboration between Ardbeg master blender Dr. Bill Lumsden with Christian Stevenson, a.k.a.
DJ BBQ that is meant to replicate the traditional flavors of barbecued food. It is a peated single malt whisky that is matured in a combination of double-charred oak, Pedro Ximénéz (PX) sherry casks, and what Ardbeg describes as its own unique "BBQ casks." it is bottled at 50.9% ABV, released in June, 2023.

Tasting Notes
"Aromas of smoked, briny seaweed, flaming rosemary and sage, dark chocolate, and balsamic vinegar emanate from the glass. The palate is meaty, though not traditional smoked meats–rather the taste of smoked fowl (chicken, duck), along with flavors of sweet tomato paste, soy sauce, and vinegar. Sweeter, richer flavors of milk chocolate and red apple tie the savory, umami flavors together toward a long, smoky, salty-sweet finish. "
