Reviewed October 10, 2017Sometimes I hate Corryveckan, sometimes I really enjoy it. Seems to depend more on me than on the whisky—depends on how I’m feeling, what I am eating or have eaten, etc. Worth another try -

Taking a sip of Ardbeg Corryvreckan is like having a heavy-weight boxer wearing boxing gloves made entirely of peat hit you with a right hook. There's other stuff in there as well, liquorice, tar, bacon. The finish lasts forever. Fantastic stuff but only if you like peat monsters. The reviewers notes for this are wrong though. It is not 10 years old. There are whiskies in this a lot younger than 10 years.
