Reviewed October 11, 2020Not quite as mature as the ardbeg 10, and unfortunately for me makes it not one I'd typically pick over the 10 year unless it's a good deal. Not a bad whiskey, but I find it hard at the price slot it's in when comparing to others. -

Reviewed October 3, 2020Nose: seaweed, barbecue smoke Palate: caramel, fruits, chocolate Finish: salty, smoky More complex than it looks. In a glencairn the chocolate flavor becomes too much for me - but in a rocks glass the flavors even out. Nice rich mouthfeel from being unchillfiltered.
