Semi oily with a cereal and light vanilla begining, light oak, straw, floral, mild peat smoke. As you reach the finish it reaches a drier, tannic and peppery medium length finish. Very mild and light, a great introduction to peated malts and one I recommend to alot of people interested in peat. Its nothing extraordinary but its a great every day sipper with a fantastic price. Cant tell you how many people ive gotten off J&B (somewhat similar profiles, with ardmore being superior of the two)
