American BrandyProduced in the US, this is usually referring to brandy distilled from grape-based wine. If the producer uses other fruit, it must be stated on the label. If aged under two years in oak, it must state the word "immature" on the label. Beyond that, labels such as VS, VSOP, and XO mean little as the brands themselves dictate what that means to them.

Tasting Notes
"Argonauts Fat Thumb Brandy tilts the balance of the blend toward older and pot still brandies, and the spirit reflects that. It's rich in mouthfeel with a heavier, darker palate that offers notes of cherry, baked apple, leather, and brown sugar leading up to a semi-sweet finish. It would play nicely in cocktails (perhaps a Brandy Old Fashioned) but has sufficient depth for sipping."
