Astral Tequila is made with 100% blue Weber agave which, after cooking, are crushed with a traditional stone tahona. Additionally, the agave fibers called the "bagasso" are added to the fermentation process to enhance the flavor. The añejo bottling is aged for 12 months in single-use American oak bourbon barrels.
Availability begins in select US markets including CA, FL, TX, IL, NY, SC, MI, OH, and VA beginning April 1, 2023. (SRP $34.99).

Tequila AñejoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged for at least a year in barrels not to exceed 600 liters. Any type of wood is acceptable, but ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Añejo tequilas are also known as "aged" or "extra aged".

Tasting Notes
"The nose veers in an almost savory direction with aromas of red and green bell peppers, grapefruit, and caramel. The agave is still present on the palate, but takes on a candied characteristic, mixing with rosemary herbaceousness, grapefruit zest, roasted mushrooms, and dark chocolate. It is a rather laid back style of añejo—not too rich—with a touch of spicy heat and earthy cocoa in the finish. "
