RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The nose kicks off with licorice and a hefty dose of mint in the form of medicinal menthol. There's also vanilla and overripe apples. The palate is dry and thin, with cedar, cinnamon, and burnt toast topped with melted butter. The finish is astringent, with leather, green oak and a cardboard; though more in in a dried-out fashion as opposed to a true fault in the form of a musty off-note."
