Auchentoshan 12 Year

Nose is fruity with the malt grain aromas. The mouth feel is silky smooth and heavier then what you’d expect from 40 abv. Vanilla and caramel are the main flavors. Dry finish and a touch of bourbon oak spiciness.

Very smooth. Not very distinct

A faint salty orange 🍊, I’m not entirely sure on this one. I’m not quite pinning down any major flavors. Almost like a vat of speysides mixed together, but not in a work that necessarily works for the benefit. Unfortunately, towards the bottom of the list for me.

Nose is really subtle and nice. Top notes are brisk and it is a bit sour/lemon. Nice though. Interesting and not overly peaty but not complex enough to remember forever.
