Glen Grant 15 Year Batch Strength 1st Edition
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed February 28, 2023Vanilla, honey sweetness on a red apple freshly picked from an apple orchard adds a quick sniff of fresh uncut green grass. You can modestly taste the spice, but nothing to be worried about, it sits nicely before fading rather quickly. -

Brown sugar mixed with some flowers, some nutty almond smell, the almonds are absolutely there, almost an almond extract I’d put in pancakes or waffles. A nice light east drinker, honestly I have no idea which on I think it could be! Not my favorite, but not at the absolute bottom of the list either

On the nose I didn’t get too to much peat, peppermint, tobacco. I also did get some stone fruit as well, it’s like relaxing but a wet fire made with fruit tree wood! Upon tasting, I got a decent hit of the smoke, nothing wild, absolutely some band aid and iodine with some salty chocolate! A nice little burn on the backend lingers. Not sure which one this guy is! But I am enjoying it and would for sure enjoy another dram
