Auchentoshan 18 Year

Nose- very mild oak and vanilla. Some fruit smell. Taste- very mild and smooth. Vanilla to start. Then nutty almond in the middle. Finish of slight oak and fruit. Finish- slightly Smokey oak that lingers on the tongue. Overall- very good sipping whiskey. More mild than the 12 year, less fruity but more of a smooth wood and vanilla taste. An oily whiskey that lingers. Very good 18 year.
