This one is greatly evolving. Right from the nose to the palate, huge apple odour that transfers to a salted caramel, vanilla, wooden taste. Very dry, sharp.
Nose: light&subtle, some citrus, chocolate and marsipan
Taste: warm, light spices, not many distinct tastes.
Finish: medium length, warm, some bitter- and dryness
My second in the Auchentoshan Family. I like the nutty, winter spiced nature of their scotch. Some clove, lots of cinnamon and other warning spices. As mentioned very nutty as well with both oak and very light vanilla at the end.
