Auchentoshan Three Wood

Lots of sweet oak and dried fruit, with malty scotch base. Good.

Sweet taste of the cherry cask. Lovely whiskey

First thing that hit the nose is rum raisin; reminds me of rum raisin ice cream. This has a very fruity raisin nose with a smell of Christmas. The palate matches the nose with a sweet raisin and stewed prunes. It has the flavor of dried fruits, very sweet and non-astringent going down. Very enjoyable.
