Reviewed June 29, 2016 (edited February 3, 2020)Nose - Syrupy dark sweetness, thick chewy sugar dates, wine stewed prunes/plums, clove, nutmeg, dark raisins. Taste - Very thick/oily mouthfeel, syrupy stewed prunes/plums, dark raisins, cinnamon, orange zest, brown sugar syrup, fruit cake. Finish - Lingering sugary wine stewed prune/plum/raisin sweetness, light cinnamon heat, drying oaky sweet. 76/100 -

Reviewed June 21, 2016 (edited April 24, 2018)Anybody who likes their sweeter drams, this one would be a contender. Some serious fruit and caramel. It's an excellent bottle to have around the house for when you have guests over and they think they don't like scotch whisky. Sipping this would change many minds.
