Everything youd expect from Tamdhu, with a little heat. But for 60% I expected much more. Perhaps that is an artifact of how long the bottle has been open. No matter, it’s really good!

It’s on the sweeter end. It’s not the same but it reminds me of Tullamore Dew.

On the sweeter end with the typical rye bite hitting later. Nothing in-your-face or overly aggressive. Just an easy-going rye.

Solid. Its been 10 years since I’ve had this and I’m mad I slept on this. Just a great sipper. Mild and smooth and it will now be one of my defaults for when I can’t make up my mind.

At 109 proof it’s not as overpowering as I had expected but it’s definitely not for someone who gets heartburn. If you like a sharp tongue tingling peppery bourbon, this is it.

The standard rye punch is soft and hits fairly quickly but its immediately followed by the port finish which smooths it out nicely.
