Augusta Old Route 8 Single Barrel Cask Strength Bourbon (House of Bourbon)

Seelbach's single barrel. 124.6 proof. Maple syrup. Lots of oak. Brown sugar.

8 year singoe barrel 124.6 proof bottle 100 barrel 30 Nose: graham cracker, grain forward, soft marshmallow. Palette: licorice and peanut up front, not too sweet, bit sloght bubble gum notes. Nutty mid palette with slight spice. Burnt sugar finish with some grain.

This was a very good mouth feel with a lot of caramel flavor. The proof adds to the flavor. There's a dark fruit on the palate with a tobacco and oak finish.
