Pours light gold, with a slight medicinal nose. Surprisingly whiskey like on the palate with definite rum notes in the finish. Lacks “hogo”

It’s rum, like it tastes just like rum. Sweet, fruity, and smooth. Great mixer.

Rum taste with barrel smelling. Rich in flavor but price affordable.

Pretty decent baseline rum for the price; makes a good Old Fashioned... particularly if you’re in Old San Juan!

Aroma is sweetness: brown sugar & caramel. Flavors are hard to pin down. Sweet, yes, "spiced rum" is what I think of, like a standard Bacardi. I probably need them side-by-side to see if there was a difference. Okay as a sipper but does much better in a drink. Rating is based on neat sipping.

Fruity on the nose. Notes of dried fruit and bitter spice. Viscous and smooth finish. Great sipped alone and in cocktails.
